The Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce launched a new campaign to recognize the historical success of small, independent businesses in the community.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of the Cashiers Area economy and despite occasional hard times, they have provided our community with dedicated service and quality products for many decades,” said Will Madden, chamber board Treasurer and Cashiers Branch Manager of Macon Bank, a subsidiary of Entegra Financial Corporation.
“We at Macon are pleased to sponsor this recognition program and look forward to celebrating across the Plateau as we count up to what we expect will be a very impressive number,” he said.
The Chamber’s signature multi-color balloons will mark anniversaries across the area in the coming weeks while a Crossroads banner will periodically show the growing total. Macon Bank and the Chamber treat participating company employees to a commemorative cake and customers often enjoy a door prize promotion by visiting.
