Stephanie Edwards

Stephanie Edwards serves as Executive Director of the Cashiers Area Chamber providing leadership support to the Board of Directors on strategic issues, developing the organization’s operating plans, directing programs and activities, and managing resources. Her background includes extensive community and economic development volunteer service with state and local chambers and career public affairs positions with the AAA National Office and US Congress. She has a BA in Economics from American University, Washington DC, and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.

An Orlando, Florida native, Stephanie has been visiting Western North Carolina since she was a child.  She and her husband, Bill, with their three sons, have enjoyed living and playing in the area for decades. “There’s something very special about the Cashiers area and I’m honored to have the privilege of serving my community in this role,” she said.

Thomas Taulbee

Thomas brings over 20 years of Chamber experience in his role as Director of Membership/Community Relations and Visitor Center Manager. He is a strategic business leader with experience in operational and organizational management, community relations, special event consulting, and public relations. He is most proud of his work at Chamber South, one of Florida's largest chambers of commerce where he started, developed, and lead the Ambassador program. The program was born out of the desire to get new members quickly acquainted with tools that maximized their membership. The program grew to be one of the most successful initiatives of the organization.

Thomas enjoys his mountain lifestyle teaching yoga classes as a Certified Instructor and his work with Daybreak Fly Fishing Conservancy. Thomas is a graduate of the Leadership Cashiers program and serves on the Alumni Network Advisory Board.
