This morning, Mission Health and HCA Healthcare issued a press release concerning an Asset Purchase Agreement which includes Highlands Cashiers Hospital. The local hospital board unanimously voted to support this transaction and the Mission Board has now given its final approval. This is a great opportunity for the health and wellness of the Cashiers Area and for ensuring sustainable, quality medical care on the Plateau.
