This year's Tour will be held on Saturday, September 7th, and volunteers are needed! You, your business or organization can sign up to assist athletes to check in for the races, volunteer along any of the 3 cycling courses, or assist with the 5k run. ONLINE DIRECTORY UPDATE

We are excited to announce that we will unveil an updated Chamber Directory in the coming months. Business and Non-Profit members will have the convenience to update account information online, add business associates to Chamber email communications, receive status emails prior to your membership anniversary and have the option to renew and pay your membership dues online. We will continue to advocate for your business on a rolling 12-month cycle and you will continue to enjoy exclusive Chamber member benefits. We will continue to communicate these updates to our members via email.
 

CASHIERS FLAG TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS

The Cashiers Area Chamber's Retail Roundtable encourages purchase of a Cashiers Valley 1833 Flag as a visual statements of coordinated effort among Cashiers businesses. Any Business interested in purchasing the flag may do so here on the Chamber's website. Read on for information about the roundtable's efforts to promote a coordinated Christmas Light display. 

CASHIERS CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAY

The Chamber's Retailer Roundtable met again in July to discuss plans to promote a coordinated Christmas Light display and retail shopping experience this holiday season. Businesses in the Cashiers Village Area are encouraged to decorate with warm white lights and showcase their light display immediately following the annual Christmas Tree lighting at the Village Green on Friday, November 29.  Volume purchase of lights will be available thru the Chamber thanks to Zoller Hardware. Details forthcoming.
 

LINK YOUR INGLES CARD, SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS

The Cashiers Area Chamber reminds you to relink your Ingles Advantage Card each year to participate in the Ingles "Tools for Schools" program. Support Blue Ridge School & Early College, Cashiers Valley Preschool, Hampton Preschool and Summit Charter School by earning cashback for local education. Your card must be renewed annually.

Check out ths year's Business After Hours calendar on our website CashiersAreaChamber.com. These newly expanded networking receptions will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month (June-October) from 5:00-7:00 PM and event themes will showcase member businesses and organizations in Retail, Health & Wellness, Education, Outdoor & Recreation, and the annual Chili Cook-Off Finale.

LEADERSHIP CASHIERS

Leadership Cashiers, a community engagement initiative of the Cashiers Area Chamber meets again this month for continued discussions of economic and social issues and a group project to benefit the Cashiers area community. The Program serves to "inform, connect and engage leaders by looking intensively at the issues affecting our area, and by building strong working relationships to prepare and motivate participants to provide enlightened, dynamic leadership." Sessions to date focused on Economic Development, Planning & Infrastructure and Education. www.LeadershipCashiers.org.

The online community calendar recently underwent required maintenance leading into the 2019 year. Area businesses and non-profits are invited to add event details to the calendar throughout the year for maximum exposure to area residents and visitors. From the homepage - submit details via the "Add Event" menu option.

The Chamber operates and maintains the Cashiers Area Job Board and invites you to Post a Job and Find a Job. The website was developed in 2017 and is promoted regionally as part of the Chamber's ongoing efforts to tackle Workforce Development.
