The Cashiers Area Chamber designed, installs, finances and maintains the destination signage for our local unincorporated communities of Cashiers, Glenville and Sapphire (planned). A new Glenville sign was erected northbound on NC 107 North last year.
On May 23rd , 2019 Chamber representation appeared before the Jackson County Board of Commissioners to request an incremental $5,000 in community grant funds for replacement of the northernmost, southbound Glenville sign on NC Highway 107 (near High Falls North Trailhead).
This high-profile sign will be located on the primary Jackson County north-south thoroughfare and serve as a gateway to the Glenville community and the Cashiers Area.
