CASHIERS AREA PAVING PROGRESSING - UPDATE

According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the Cashiers Area paving projects are nearing completion. The Chamber is in close contact with NCDOT officials who have consistently welcomed interest and feedback on this major project.
US Highway 64 E from Ceder Creek Road to the Jackson/Transylvania Co line is completed but with the exception of striping and the installation of reflectors. This work will resume in late September or early October. Please note that this will be done with limited traffic delays-According to NCDOT.
Highway 107 South is also nearing completion. Work is expected to be completed by late September with limited traffic delays - According to NCDOT.
Please be patient under these circumstances as this extensive road improvement and infrastructure investment will enhance our community.
