In 2019, the Cashiers Area Chamber welcomed the beginning of its Chamber Ambassador Program as part of our ongoing efforts to connect and engage with community businesses and citizens. The program is designed to welcome and help new members with techniques to utilize Chamber membership to its fullest. Chamber Ambassador Program promotes member commitment and member retention by creating a greater awareness of the benefits of membership, guiding new members through the process of membership to cultivate a strong alliance, and helping develop and encourage member participation in Chamber events and community. Thomas Taulbee, Project Manager for the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors, leads the program to success.
WHO ARE THE CHAMBER AMBASSADORS? A select volunteer group of highly motivated individuals that understand the benefits of Chamber membership and participation and offer their time and knowledge in support of the Chamber, Community and the Ambassador Program.

ABOUT THOMAS TAULBEE - CHAMBER AMBASSADOR PROGRAM LEADER
Thomas has over 20 years of Chamber experience both as a member and staff. He is a strategic business leader with experience in operational and organizational management, community relations, special event consulting and public relations. He is most proud of his work at Chamber South, one of Florida's largest chamber of commerce where he started, developed and lead the Ambassador program. The program was born out of the desire to get new members quickly acquainted with tools that maximized their membership. The program grew to be one of the most successful initiatives of the organization.
"Involvement in a chamber is one of the best investments you can make! Building lasting relationships through the chamber can make your business and community strong. The Ambassador program of the Cashiers Chamber can help you add value to your membership by showing you how to get involved. Let the chamber work for you!" said Thomas.
Thomas enjoys his mountain lifestyle and position with the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors, teaching yoga classes as a Certified Instructor and his work with Daybreak Fly Fishing Conservancy. Thomas will soon graduate from the inaugural Leadership Cashiers class in October of 2019 where he will become an active member of the Leadership Cashiers Alumni network.
